About Red Hill

If you thought the Mornington Peninsula was simply a stretch of nice beaches and holiday houses, think again. Nestled between the coastal towns of Dromana and Balnarring, Red Hill is an overflowing micro-region that packs a whole lot of punch. Dense forest and bushland are broken up by vineyards, farms, boutique breweries and galleries, all within close proximity to one another.

Things to do

Eat, drink and be merry! Sure, the beach is close, but Red Hill is all about enjoying the sumptuous fresh produce and specialty goods on offer all year round. Not only do many of the farms and wineries offer farm-to-table dining options which showcase their home grown harvests, but Red Hill is also host to many celebrated restaurants that are definitely worth making the drive down for.

Many properties are also home to spectacular gardens, allowing you to walk off some of the delicious food and drink you’ve likely consumed during your visit and take in the tranquillity of Red Hill. Or you can stop by one of the several art galleries and admire the works of local artists.

Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm

Hands on experience doesn’t get more enjoyable (or delicious!) then picking fresh strawberries at Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm. Wander through the fields and take your time picking the freshest and ripest strawberries – after all, you get to take them home with you! Then once the hard work has been done, treat yourself to one of the award winning desserts the farm dish up, with the strawberry ice cream a particular highlight!

Red Hill Estate

It doesn’t get much more stunning than Red Hill estate, with some of the most panoramic views of Western Port Bay that the area has to offer. With 46 acres of grounds to explore, and some of the finest wines the peninsula region has to offer, make sure you set aside an afternoon to truly appreciate the grandness of the property. And in a region known particularly for their cool climate that creates a unique wine producing environment, it would be rude not to try a drop or two.

Red Hill Spa

Once you’ve eaten and drank more than you thought possible, unwind in the best possible way at Red Hill Spa. Tucked away amongst an oasis of gum trees, Red Hill Spa offers a wide range of treatments and spa rituals that will ensure your mind and body reach total bliss. Whether it’s a massage, facial or scrub you are after, Red Hill Spa use only the best local organic products available, and they can also cater for couples or groups too.
