Reviews
Toni and Graeme's welcome was warm and friendly and from the moment we arrived at our site, we felt totally spoilt! The kitchen set up had everything you could think of and included, two cookers, homey crockery, hand warmers and even a star gazing map! The tent felt luxurious, with its carpeted floors, cosy stretcher beds with doonas. Complete with a hot outdoor shower to boot. The setting was absolute magic! Watching stars through the seemly endless tree canopy, listening to wildlife. Day break brought more surprises, with views of the stunning Warren River and discovering the gorgeous fairy wrens that came to visit our site. Both the short walks and the Heartbreak Trail were a fantastic! With surprises around every corner. From the tranquil forrest to the beautiful birdlife and the spectacular fungi. The experience had all beauty of nature with all the creature comforts of home. We'll definitely be back again.
We had a wonderful long weekend in September 'Glamping' with WA Wilderness. Even though we were late arriving and the office was shut, a map had been left for us and Graeme was still onsite with our campfire lit for our arrival. Everything we needed was there for us, beds were very comfy and camp chairs were well used by us next to the campfire. The river was so close and my partner who loves fishing spent a lot of time there while I relaxed with a book. We had lovely travels during the day around the area, including the Lavender and Berry Farm (amazing scones), Jarrah Jack's and Beedalup Falls. Highly recommended, just take your food and clothes and you are set! Hopefully be back soon :-)
Very glad to have chosen the Glamping experience at Pemberton. The kids had a fantastic time camping out in the woods and making (dancing around) campfire. I am happy to give some feedback: - Amazing facility set-up, every imaginable detail has been thought out. I particularly like the make-shift sinks for handwashing and dish cleaning. - The beds were comfortable and fits a family of four perfectly. The Rhino seats were an essential part of the campfire experience. - The kitchen came complete with gas grill, gas cooker and utensils. - Overall I would say it is luxurious camping, and works well for people who do not want to be bothered with making preparations and setting up of tents, and yet being able to arrive at the scene with everything prepared for them. I would add that, especially for customers arriving from big Asia cities, who tend to be 'pampered' by convenience, this offer makes a lot of sense.
WA Wilderness hosts Toni and Graeme really have thought of every possible need for this 'Glamping' experience. If you want to try camping but don't have the gear, or want a getaway without the hassle of setting up or packing up this is the stay for you. Spotless equipment and super comfy beds, chairs and tents make for a great stay. We were set up at Drafty's camp in the Warren National Park which was secluded and beautiful bushland with the river a few meters from our door. You can kayak, swim, fish or just enjoy the surrounds. Make sure you take the forest and Dunes Tour with Pemberton Discovery Tours it was a highlight for the kids!
Great introduction to camping! We are a family of 5 and we all enjoyed it immensely. The set-up was fantastic and the organisers put in a lot of effort to make sure everything was perfect. There were even playing cards for kids (but they were so tired by the end of the day, they just wanted an early night - and my kids never have early nights!). Great way to get in touch with nature and talk to the kookaburras. The park & river are totally unspoilt and worth seeing. Definitely worth it (especially if you don't want to lug around a trailer with all your camping gear).
I was 36wks pregnant when we went 'glamping' for 5 nights near Pemberton & I was so comfy & relaxed that I could've easily stayed longer! We arrived to a fully assembled campsite, we only needed to bring our suitcases & food. We had a roomy tent with stretcher bed for our preschooler & deluxe air mattress with wool underlay & duvet for us. The camp kitchen was fully equipped & we had an ensuite tent with hot shower & portaloo too! At the campsite we enjoyed watching birdlife during the day & the campfire at night. We also took advantage of other local sightseeing including the Donnelly River cruise, Lavender & Berry Farm, Jarrah Jacks brewery & kayaking on Big Brook Dam. We found our glamping experience reasonably priced, similar to a chalet but we enjoyed it far more being closer to nature. WA Wilderness have been an absolute pleasure to deal with & we look forward to staying with them again!
First time camping for our family and what a wonderful experience. Not having any camping equipment makes this a perfect set up for us. Everything provided and set up beautifully. Very comfortable, warm beds, lovely chairs to sit round the camp fire and chill. It really was 'glamping'!
Perfectly situated camp sites, with really good quality equipment made our stay so relaxing and hasel free, with everything set up and ready to go all we had to do was relax!
We had a lovely time, everything was set up for us, all we needed to do was rock up, light the fire and cook our food. It was the most hassel free camping we have ever done. Had a great time and would love to be back.
