Welcome to the Tarra Valley Caravan Park "Fernholme". Situated on the picturesque Tarra River, approximately two and a half hours from Melbourne. You will feel so refreshed and relaxed at "Fernholme"...just the sound of the birds, the babbling of the Tarra River and the wonderful rain forest environment will soothe you. You will see and hear the elusive lyrebird and if you are very lucky might see a platypus or a koala. The river has trout, blackfish and fresh water crays.

You have the choice of rustic cabins or powered and tent sites (some right on the banks of the river). We have two BBQ sheds with huge open fires both with free gas BBQs (one bbq shed has a microwave, jug and toaster). Or you can have your own fire drum to sit around and toast your marshmallows.

I go camping there with friends every March and June, and it is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The cabins are spacious and big enough for a family to stay.

Tarra Valley Tourist park is set in a very tranquil area along side the Tarra River. Facilities are excellent and well maintained. Whether you want an un-powered or a cosy cabin you will be very happy with your peaceful stay. TarraBulga National Park is just up the road and is a must to visit. Take a drive to find wonderful scenery and views back to Wilsons Promentary or the Ninety Mile Beach and in the far distance the Gippsland Lakes. Take some time out to also visit the township of Yarram and historic Port Albert. Tarra Valley Tourist Park has a lot to offer with the surrounding district or sit back and soak up the peaceful tranquility.
