Stayed here for quite a number of weeks. Great value for money, park was clean and tidy with lovely grassed sites. New owners have worked hard to make it better and that is certainly paying off. All staff were friendly and so were the permanent residents that we met. Shop does have limited stock, but Geraldton and Dongara are only 30 mins in either direction. Great site if you like fishing and the surrounding area has a lot of historical sites to explore. Also a good place to stay to head in land for wild flowers. Would definitely recommend this site. To the person who complained about having to give ID for toilet key, Wonthella IGA has the same system, so it's not unusual, and helps to keep out the trouble makers who were giving the park a bad reputation. It also makes it safer for all users.

We've been buying fuel, coffees & ice creams for the family from the petrol station here for decades on our regular trips north. However, when buying fuel there today & 2 X $5 coffees, I was asked for ID ( whitch was still in the vehicle)before being given a key to use the toilets in the park . When I queried this, I was given the reason why ie vandalism in the bathroom block. I can fully understand where they're coming from, but I'd have thought they could've used their common sense & discretion, as I hardly think 2 presentable seniors in their late 60's would be profiled as being vandals. Al little common sense would help in turning customers, into repeat customers. I don't think we will be going back as they weren't particularly friendly.

It is to date the filthiest caravan park I've stayed in. Queens birthday long weekend got in a day early to beat the rush and cooking and ablutions were filthy, accepted it as thought it was lead up. Still first day of long weekend and not even cleaned once. Service was rude to be polite and to top it off to be greedy they added extra camp spots on top of us and told us we had to move our stuff even though it wasn't on there map till the manager decided to add it in pencil. If I knew I could get accomodation elsewhere on a long weekend I would pack up and leave. I would have rated most zero but site wouldn't let me. Save your money and pay it at a better caravan park, this one should be shit down!
