Purnululu National Park is where you’ll find the Bungle Bungle Range. The banded beehive-shaped domes separated by a maze of sheer-sided gorges with seasonal pools are one of Australia’s natural wonders. The walk trails through the domes and gorges, the scenic flights over them from the airstrip in the park and the campgrounds with a view of them glowing in the setting sun make for an ultimate outback adventure.
Like all outback adventures, you need to be well-prepared: road access is suitable only for high-clearance 4WD vehicles with a low-range gearbox and the nearest source of provisions, including fuel, is more than 100km away.
Online booking is available for the peak season of 1 May to 30 September. Purnululu National Park is closed during the Kimberley wet season, usually December to March, but dates vary. For camping in the off-peak season, booking is not available the parkhas sufficient capacity for all campers.
Camping fees are: adult $12.00, concession $8.80 and child (6-15yrs) $2.20 per night. An additional vehcle entry fee applies, a range of options are available for purchase from a number of outlets including the Parks and Wildlife online shop and the park visitor centre.
Dogs are not permitted in Purnululu National Park.

Purnululu National Park features a variety of walk trails for exploring it`s spectacular domes and gorges. The trails range from short routes suitable for most ages and fitness levels, though the trail surfaces are rocky and uneven, to longer trails that should only be considered by very experienced bushwalkers with specialised navigation and outback survival skills and equipment.
