After being greeted by the most miserable woman I have ever met we found a spot in the grass that hasn't been cut for years. This place was run down, none of the female toilets worked and only 2 of the men's did. It looks like a mini shanty town. Imagine new Orleans after hurricane Katrina. One night was too many for us. I wont even mention the camp kitchen. We were about 15 meter's from the main highway into Hervey Bay with trucks driving past all night. For $20 per night we have had MUCH better. It doesn't meet the standards that we have experienced/expected from Turu at all! If I could post photos you would see what I mean...
