Contact PropertyGet away from it all on a remote private island.
AN ISLAND WILDERNESS RETREAT, Nestling into the sand dunes on the north tip of Bremer Island, between two pristine beaches and rocky headlands, Banubanu is part of a greater arena of beautiful offshore islands in the Arafura Sea. It has so much for nature lovers, fishermen and those who just want to chill out and relax.
The Retreat takes up to 14 people comfortably with two cabins and five tents.
The Dining Area, a covered dining and seating area provides protection from the elements and is cooled by overhead fans. Much of the furniture, fittings and decor are skillfully fashioned from driftwood and items found by beachcombers.
Sunset Deck, The Retreat has a covered deck overlooking the western bay, capitalising on magnificent seaviews and ocean breezes. It is a wonderful place to have breakfast or morning coffee, to relax during the day and of course to enjoy sunset nibbles and drinks before a two course Banu dinner.
Amenities All our toilets are self composting and are showers are cold water. Our electricity is generated by wind and solar power.
