Great place to take a family, great boat ramp, lot of room with playground, toilets, water, but the caretaker was very unpleasant to deal with, so my advise is to know exactly how long you want to stay there. and keep your groups quiet or the caretaker will bother you.
beautifull river looks like glass at times easy to put dinghy;s kayak in clean toilets in winter very cold but nice to getaway and snuggle up in summer shade and plenty to do on the river. and only about 15km to the town.
Just a great relaxing spot to camp
